| We have thimbleberry runners everywhere. They are a noxious weed in our opinion. How can we get rid of them without having to pull every runner and without killing all other vegetations around them? Thanks!!! |
| There really is no easy way to get rid of the brambles. Any partial root left in the ground can potentially turn into a new plant. You can try keeping them cut off at soil surface to starve out the roots or you can dig them out. You might be able to paint each and every sprout with a product like Round Up, but this is a vegetation killer and can harm nearby plants if you are not careful with the application. Some gardeners report success with plain old vinegar but again, this needs to be painted or poured on individual sprouts. Wish I had a better solution! |
