The Q&A Archives: apple tree

Question: I just planted an apple tree that's not very big, i want too know how long before i get any apples

Answer: You will probably need to wait at least 5 years before your apple tree is even mature enough to flower. When it flowers, it will produce fruit, provided there is a second apple tree in the landscape (or if your neighbors' have apple trees). If not, you'll need to plant a different apple tree in your garden in order to get apples from your trees.
