My fig fiddle plant has only grown on one side I turned it around to get more sun but it has'nt helped. I did over water it before causing brown spots, Should I change the soil out? What's wrong?

Fiddle Leaf figs are not very fast growing so turning yours to promote new growth was a good idea, but it will take quite a while for new stems and foliage to develop on that side of the plant. Watering depends upon how large your plant is and how moist the soil remains. Stick your finger into the soil before you water. If it is still moist and inch below the surface you won't need to water - if it's dry, it's time to water. Good luck with your fiddle leaf fig.
