My friend gave me a Orange Candleflower (Arum Italicum), which I planted the bulb on March 16, 2009. When I look up how long it takes to grow, everything says

Slow is the right word for these bulbs. They need to rest and when they are ready, they will develop roots and then sprouts. Give your bulbs a few more weeks to imbibe water, experience warm soils and come out of its dormancy. You've given it everything else it needs so just be a little more patient and you will eventually be rewarded!
