The Q&A Archives: Shrimp plant

Question: my Yellow shrimp plant has some black spots on the bloom. Is that a fungus or some other condition. I have had the plant for many year and do not remember the black being on the plant. Thank you

Answer: Black spots can indicate a fungal or bacterial disease so if there are only a few affected leaves you can pull them off the plant to keep it from spreading. Good air circluation all around the plant will help keep diseases at bay, as well as keeping water off the foliage. Hope this helps!
