I planted some herbs from seeds but they never seem to grow. the kit came with a doom cover for moisture.

You didn't say exactly what kinds of problems you are experiencing so I don't know if I can help. But in general, moisten the seed starting mix and then sow your seeds on top, barely covering them with additional seed starting mix. Cover with the dome which will help keep the seeds moist while they are germinating. When most of the seeds have sprouted, remove the dome and reset it so it is slightly ajar. Remember to lift the dome off once a day to allow fresh air to enter, then replace it, slightly ajar. If you don't the seedlings can develop a fungal disease called damping off. Check your seedlings for moisture needs every day and be sure to provide lots of light so they can grow sturdy and stocky. Hope this information helps!
