The Q&A Archives: Long-blooming flowers

Question: I don't know much about gardening. I'm looking for flowers for our yard that bloom pretty much all summer. I live in Berea, KY. Any suggestions?

Answer: For really easy, long-blooming annuals for a sunny border in Kentucky try Ageratum, bedding dahlia, vinca, and Salvia splendens. For shade, you can't go wrong with Begonias, Coleus and Impatiens.
