The Q&A Archives: Squirrels and grass what to do?

Question: Yhis is the second year squirrels are ruing my lawn in front of my house. What do I do to prevent them from doing this and keep the lawn healthy, there is alot of shade too.

Answer: I suspect squirrels are digging in the lawn in search of grubs, nuts or acorns they may have buried last year. There's not much you can do to keep them from burying their stash of nuts or acorns, but you can use a pesticide on your lawn to eliminate the grubs. GrubEX and GrubBgon are two products currently available. Best wishes with your lawn!
