The Q&A Archives: storing bulbs

Question: How can I store tulip bulbs and when do I plant them?

Answer: You can store your bulbs in a cool dark place until September. At that time put them in the refrigerator so they can experience 12-14 weeks of temperatures below 40F. In late December you can plant them in your garden and they should grow and bloom right on time.
