The Q&A Archives: Flagstone Patio with Spacing

Question: I am interested in planting between rocks on my new flagstone pation. What are some suggestions before I fill in the gaps?

Answer: Creeping Thyme works well between flagstones. It takes the heat and grows low enough to be walked upon. Sedums will also grow but can be messing when stepped on. Irish or Scotch moss are also great plants for between flagstones. Enjoy!
