I planted a Scotch Broom bush last summer.Should it be showing some signs of life by now? There isn't anything yet. |
Scotch broom is hardy in your region but can suffer extensive winter damage. Most gardeners cut them off just above ground level each spring. If yours is planted in full sunshine and in well draining soils. Overly soggy winter soils can suffocate the roots. So you might want to try pruning yours back a bit to promote new growth. Hope it comes back soon! |
