iris bed - Knowledgebase Question

we have an iris bed that has been invaded by bermuda grass and needs to be cleaned up. will it
hurt the rhizomes to be dug up this time of year?

If you can wait until after your iris bloom you can safely dig and replant them. If you do it while they are beginning to bloom or during the flowering process, they will be reluctant to finish blooming. Good luck with your garden!
