What size, depth for example, pot would I need for tomato plants? also bean stalk????

Tomato plants have extensive root systems and grow best in 5-gallon containers; smaller patio type tomato plants can go in 2 or 3 gallon containers. Beans will grow in a two gallon pot without problem. Good luck with your new garden.
