Last fall I kept the potato which formed at the roots of my potato vine. Can I cut it into pieces and replant it like regular potatoes to get new plants?

You can divide the tuber, making sure that each division has at least 2-3 eyes and replant them in your garden. You should get several new plants, depending upon how many divisions you were able to make from the original tuber. Best wishes with your garden!
