I planted red husker too close to my ornamental grass and would like to move them to a more viewable location. They are in their second year. I would like to know when the best time to transplant them.
thank you

Spring is a good time to dig and replant your penstemon. It might suffer a little transplant stress if it is growing vigorously when you dig it, but it should recover quickly. Best wishes with your garden!
