i live in san antonio, texas. i would like to do some upgrade landscaping for my back and front yard. i dont have a green thumb. so im not familier with the best flowers or trees. i would like to plant some trees with great shade and flowers that are low maintance and year around. can u point me in the right direction. thanks elizabeth

Texas A & M cooperative extension has tons of publications to help you decide exactly what to plant. Here's their website:

Just click on your area of interest and you will find lists and lists of plants, shrubs and trees along with their descriptions and cultural information. Happy browsing!
