The Q&A Archives: Summer Central Florida Annuals

Question: I live in Central Florida. What would be good summer annuals to put in large pots that get full sun?

Answer: Browallia will bloom until August; Crossandra, border Dahlia and Calliopsis will bloom until fall; Gazania, Nicotiana, marigolds and ornamental pepper plants will perform nicely all summer long. Portulaca (Rose moss), Thunbergia (alata), and verbena are also good choices for summer color.
