It has been seven years since we moved into our house. The Stello De Oro daylilies were here when we arrived. In the past two years (or more) they have not been blooming very well, is it time to split them and replant?

I think digging and dividing is a good idea. When plants are overcrowded they compete for nutrients and moisture, usually at the expense of flowers. You can dig them now, in the spring, or you can wait and divide them in the fall. Best wishes with your daylilies!
