The Q&A Archives: pygmy date palm

Question: I plant my palm out doors in georgia you ting will go back after winter time i buy this on my home depot store

Answer: Pigmy date palm is hardy only to about 28 degrees. If your garden gets colder than that in the winter, you may want to dig your palm up and plant it in a container so you can take it indoors for the winter. You can take it back outdoors in the springtime.
