How do I install soaker hoses? I have 3 3tied flower beds. How much hose do I need per square foot? Should the hose be layed straight or in a snaking pattern?

Put the soaker hose on top of the soil, snaking around your plants and then cover it with mulch material. You can tie a couple of hoses together or attach them to the same faucet with a "Y" attachment. I don't know how much hose you will need because you didn't give the measurements of your beds. The soaker hose package will list the length of the hose. All you need to do is figure out how long your flower beds are, plus the amount it will take to snake the hose through the plants. You can get an exact measurement if you simply lay string in the pattern you want the hose to go and then measure the string.
