I transplanted 3 leyland cypress trees last fall. They were 12 ft tall and a few years old. They are now brown totally. What can I do to help them? I don't want to lose them, Thank you I live in Conn. |
If they are totally brown, there might not be much hope. Usually browning over the winter months is a sign of winter damage but in this case it may have been caused by root stress - perhaps the new planting site doesn't drain as well as the old one or perhaps the roots were injured during the move. Wish I had something more positive to share with you! |
