I had bought my house in Milbrae, CA. for almost a year, and I still haven't been able to identify what kind of grass in my lawn. It looks like bermuda grass which spreads by rhizomes. Is there help out there who can identify what kind of grass I have?

A picture is worth a thousand words! Or, to be more direct, how about taking a sample of your grass to your local Extension Office for positive identification? The experts there can tell you what kind of turfgrass you have and how to best care for it. Contact Ann King, 625 Miramontes St. Suite 200, Half Moon Bay, 94019. Phone (415) 726-9059.
