| I live in zone 7 (Midland, TX) and planted 20 astilbe roots over a month ago and haven't seen anything come up yet. Should it take this long or is something else wrong. Area is full shade, well drained. Thank you! |
| Your astilbe should be up and growing by now so why not dig one up and see what's happening? They develop roots before tops so make sure they are developing roots and have not been planted too deeply (or they will take a very long time to emerge from the ground). |
