The Q&A Archives: how to grow herb in the balcony

Question: i have mint and parsley in the container in my balcony but suddenly the plants drying out and the leaves turn yellow. Please advise what causing this?

Answer: Both mint and parsley are easy to grow in containers, both like lots of sunshine and soil on the dry side. If you are keeping the soil too wet the roots can suffocate. Leaves can turn yellow or even wilt suddenly. You may be able to salvage your plants. Let the top of the soil dry out between waterings so the roots can get some oxygen as well as moisture. Hope you see an improvement soon!
