The Q&A Archives: red beetles on lillies

Question: I saw something on your sight about pesticde to get rid or the red lilly beetles, but can't find it again, can you tell me the name

Answer: You have a few options to control their population before they eat all the leaves on your plant. You can check frequently and pick and squish all the lily beetles and their eggs that you can find. If you don't have many, that method may work well for you. Otherwise, you can apply an insecticide such as organic Neem Oil, or Bayer Rose and Flower Spray. Always use caution, read the label, and apply only as needed to keep pests under control when using any insecticide whether it be organic or not.
