As long as you use insulated containers and provide afternoon shade, you can grow anything from geraniums to petunias, and even roses in containers. If the site is full sun, use lantana, or salvia or lavender. They can take the heat and will bloom all summer for you. This fall you can add some colorful annuals. Enjoy!
