The Q&A Archives: viburnum scents

Question: I would love to own the viburnum koreanspice, but I'd kill it...would please tell me what Judd viburnum smells like? thank you for time..

Answer: The Judd Viburnum (Viburnum x juddii) is a slightly less fragrant version of Koreanspice, but is better suited for hot sunny locations. It?s growth habit is full and round with a mature height and width of 6 to 8 feet. The dark green, almost bluish, leaves make a nice contrast to other shrubs. It has the same sweet clove like scent as Koreanspice, just a little less intense.
