The Q&A Archives: Agapanthas

Question: My agapanthas are not blooming well after many
years of blooming prolifically. Same conditions exist except maybe crowding.

Answer: Overcrowded plants such as agapanthus can stop blooming completely so as long as they look otherwise healthy, I suspect that's what is happening. You can dig and divide them now or wait until this fall to divide them. Either way, they should return to their prolific blooms. Enjoy!
