| Dicentra, or bleeding heart, will die down in early summer when the weather gets hot. When it does you can dig it out, roots and all, and replant it to a shadier area. The root system might be large if the bleeding heart has been in the ground for many years. You'll just have to explore around and try not to damage too much of the roots when you dig the plant.
