I bought a Semi-Dwarf J.H. Hale Peach tree a few days ago. I now see it says it needs a Pollinator. Will the tree do that itself, or do I need to buy another tree to pollinate it?

Nearly all common varieties of apricot, peach, nectarine and sour cherry are self-fruitful (do not require cross-pollination). However, the J.H. Hale peach is not self-fruitful but can be pollinated by almost any other peach variety. You will need a second peach tree. Elberta will not work, but any other peach will.
