I would like to find something or some way to control weeds, specifically, sand burs, in my lawn. However, I try to avoid chemicals and artificial stuff.

There's a product made from corn gluten meal that kills weeds in lawns and supplies some nitrogen in the process. It's sold under several trade names by the following companies: Gardens Alive! (812) 537-8651 sells "W.O.W", Walt's Organic Fertilizer Co. (206) 516-4150 sells "Wonderful Weed & Feed", and Fertrell (717) 367-1566 sells "Organic Weedzstop". If you'll put your lawn on a regular feeding schedule, the grass will be thick enough to crowd out most weed seedlings, and you won't have as many weeds to contend with.
