(organic)Recently one of my Aztec Gold Hybrid sunflowers suddenly turned black and died now my healthy sunflower is developing black spots on its leaves, what should I do?

There is a fungal disease that attacks sunflowers and leaves a chocolate brown to black blotch on the leaves. I'm afraid there's not much you can do once the plant develops the fungus. You might first try pulling off the infected leaves but if the fungus has already spread to the stem, the plant is a goner. Sad as it may be, I'd suggesting pulling the plant and removing it from the garden.
