| Not as likely an insect problem as a fertilizer problem. Uneven application of fertilizer will show up later as dark green or pale strips. If you haven't fertlized recently, there is some other source of nitrogen that is feeding the grass roots. I would dig a little of the turf out and look at the profile. You may have extensive thatch or some decomposing organic debris directly beneath the lawn. The dark green color will eventually grow out if you just continue to water and mow on a regular schedule. |
