We purchased 4 Julia Jane Boxwoods approx. 2 weeks ago. I began watering twice daily for the 2 week period (noticed the required amount is 1-2 times weekly). About 25% of each plant's leaf tips have turned yellow. Will too much H2O cause this? How long until it greens back up... since I've cut back? |
Now that you have adjusted your watering schedule, the boxwoods should recover. I would give them a few more weeks to adjust to their new sites before pruning them back a bit. When you prune you will encourage healthy new growth. Just an inch or two all around each plant should prompt new growth. Best wishes with your boxwoods. |
