Summer blooming bulbs should work in your gardening region but spring flowering bulbs will need a cold treatment in order to grow and flower for you. Next time you purchase spring flowering bulbs, put them in the refrigerator for 12-14 weeks and then plant them in your garden. They should grow and bloom for you in the spring. Good luck with your bulbs.
