Should I trim any brown edges on my house plant or should I just leave it alone?

Brown leaf margins usually indicate overly dry air so if you can increase the humidity near your plants they won't develop brown leaf edges. If you cut off the brown parts the leaf will seal up the cut and the very tip will turn brown again. You can remove the entire leaf or you can just keep cutting it back as more new browning develops. Good luck with your houseplant.
