I have a healthy growing tomato plant but the flowers keep dropping off before the tomatoes can form. What can I do to prevent this from happening. Thank you, |
Generally, if tomato plants are not setting fruit, it's because the nighttime temperatures have fallen below 55F degrees or the daytime temperatures are over 90F. A second possibility is that the flowers aren't being pollinated. You can help things along by gently shaking the plant when there are several blossoms on it, or taking a fine artist's paintbrush and visiting each flower. |
