The Q&A Archives: When to prune?

Question: Will pruning roses ruin them now if they have bloomed once? I haveKnockouts,Grandiflora, floribunda & hybrid tea. They are less than 2mos old.

Answer: You can prune them back by about one third without harming them. They won't bloom for several weeks after pruning, though.
