How do you root a lilly that is tuberous?

The lily bulb is composed of numerous scales that are attached to the basal plate. By removing some of the outer scales of large healthy disease free bulbs you can increase you lilies quickly. Any lily can be scaled to make new bulblets. Carefully remove the outer scales and plant them in the soil.
