Strawberries and moles - Knowledgebase Question

I was watching a strawberry for days waiting to pick it and the day I go out to pick it its gone snapped right off and there is a little hole near the plant is this a mole proiblem and if so how do I get rid of it.

Moles don't normally dine on strawberries but birds find them very attractive, as do other critters such as rats and mice. I'd cover the hole and see if it reappears. If so, you've got a resident. Probably a vole. You can use regular mousetraps baited with peanut butter to eliminate them.
