I have many catmint plants. The problem is, it looks like an animal (maybe cats) are lying down in the middle of the plants, causing the plant to spread out and lay flat to the ground. I have tried tying them up loosely and also cutting wire hangers and putting them in the plant. I also just spread a cat/dog/rodent granular repellant. Nothing seems to work????

I'm afraid fencing is about the only way to keep cats from lounging in your bed of catmint. The plant is irresistable to them!
