I have an arberviate shrub @12' tall in my backyard which is about the size of a football field. I now would like to add more shrubs and perennials to enhance that area. I live in the Northeast and have a log home. What would I plant to add year round color and different heights?

You can grow holly, pieris, rhododendrons, forsythia, taxus, privet, andromeda, barberry, pyracanthus and junipers in your landscape. They come in various sizes and bloom periods. Enjoy!
