leaving home for 6 weeks - Knowledgebase Question

i am leaving my house for 6 weeks..i live in Tampa. is there anything i need to do to help my plants perennials servive..i have put down some weed protection, rocks, sprayed for weeds. i must fertilize now, anything else oh yeah, hope for a reainy season Thank you

Sounds to me as though you have done everything possible to ensure the good health of your plants. Rain will help, but a drip system would be ideal. Or a reliable neighbor who can at least check to make sure the plants get adequate moisture if rainfall is sparse. Best wishes with your landscape!
