My azalea tree did not bloom this spring. All the buds look brown and dead -probably frost kill. There are no leaves on it, but the bark looks alive. Should I prune/trim/cut back the tree in any way? What will help it bloom next year? |
The normal bloom season is over for your azalea so now is the time to prune it. Pruning should encourage new growth and over the summer it will develop flower buds for next spring's display. Let's hope there's no late frost next year so you can enjoy those beautiful flowers! |
