It is not unusual for tomato plants to lose the lowest and oldest leaves. It doesn't indicate any particular problem. Cut or pinch off the dead and dying leaves and remove them from the garden, then lay an inch of compost over the soil beneath the plant (just in case there are fungal spores lurking there). When you water, try not to splash water on the leaves of your tomato plants. If the entire plant is turning yellow, not just the lower leaves, it indicates overwatering or a need for fertilizer. Hope you have a great harvest!
