The Q&A Archives: meyer lemon

Question: After blooming, the small lemon is turning yellow prematurely and falling off. What am i doing wrong?

Answer: Citrus trees often drop immature fruits and it either means that the flower was not properly pollinated or that the tree cannot fully develop all the fruits. Young trees are more apt to do this than more mature trees. As long as the tree looks otherwise healthy, fruit drop is nothing to worry about.
