Does Seeding take a lot of patience? - Knowledgebase Question

I planted turf seeds once a week for about 3 weeks adding compost as needed. There are areas that a thrieving and others that are still bald, the edges mainly and few other spots. Some of the grass has come up brown. What did I, and can I do? Thanxs in advance!

You might check to see what kind of grass seed you are sowing. There are both cool season and warm season grasses. Cool season grasses will brown out when the weather gets hot: warm season grasses will brown out when the weather gets cool. For best results sow a mixture containing both warm and cool season grasses. Hope this helps!
