My flowering cherry tree bloomed only half of the tree this spring. It started with white flowers then changed to pink. What is wrong?

Winter damage or environmental stress can cause erratic flowering. Give your tree a chance to mature a little more and it should fully flower right on time. Best wishes with your tree.
