The Q&A Archives: Flowering Cherry Tree

Question: My flowering cherry tree bloomed only half of the tree this spring. It started with white flowers then changed to pink. What is wrong?

Answer: Winter damage or environmental stress can cause erratic flowering. Give your tree a chance to mature a little more and it should fully flower right on time. Best wishes with your tree.
