I have some type of grass in my lawn. the main grass in kentucky blue grass and the other grass is very fine and does not grow up straight and requires a lot of water

Sounds like a native cool season grass. I suspect it will die out as the weather gets warmer. There's no easy way to eliminate a native grass, but typically they are annuals so applying a pre emergence herbicide on your lawn can stop the seeds from germinating this fall and again next spring. Use a pre emergent product in late summer and again in early March to try to control the native grass. Best wishes with your lawn!
