i bought my veggie transplants april 21 going in after memorial day. how do i keep them good in time for planting?

You will want to set your plants out in the sunshine during the day and then into a frost free place at night (a garage or unheated outbuilding). The key is to promote growth on sunny days but protect your transplants from cold weather so moving them back and forth is the best course of action. Best wishes with your garden!
